The Jūni Taisen anime website was updated on Saturday with a new promotional trailer. This
third video brings as a novelty an advance of the musical theme
"Rapture", song composed and interpreted by the Japanese rock band
Panorama Panama Town and that serves like opening of this animated
series. This adaptation of the light novel by
NisiOisin and Hikaru Nakamura will premiere on October 3 on Japanese
television and can be followed through Crunchyroll in simulcast with
Japanese broadcast.
Naoto Hosoda (Hataraku
Maou-sama !, Shuffle!) Directs this animated project of Graphinica
(Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas, Expelled from Paradise). Sadayuki
Murai (Sidonia no Kishi, Natsume Yūjinchō) are in charge of composing
the script while Chikashi Kadekaru (Scar-red Rider XechS, Hōkago Mania
Club) does the same with the original designs of Hikaru Nakamura. Gō Shiina (Kyousougiga, God Eater) is responsible for composing solo art for Avex Pictures.
The novel by Jūni Taisen (12 Realms) is a new collaboration between NisiOisin (Monogatari, Zaregoto, Medaka Box) and Hikaru Nakamura (Arakawa Under the Bridge) published by Shueisha in 2015. Under the slogan " A Story of Warriors Who Kill and Kill Them ", tells the story of 12 warriors who carry the names of the 12 members of the Chinese Zodiac and struggle with their lives and the pride of their home in a deadly game.
