Video game company Acquire has announced that Akiba's Beat release date for PS Vita will be delayed from March 16 to April 27 in Japan to improve the quality of the game. The company has apologized for the delay and thanked the players for understanding.
The video game is already available in Japan for the PlayStation 4 console and is scheduled to ship in Europe for PS Vita and PlayStation 4 in the spring. You can purchase a limited edition for both consoles that will include the soundtrack, a bag, an art book and a plush pet of the Pinkun game.
Akiba's Beat takes place in Akihabara where the protagonists and the "nini" Asahi Tachibana live a normal life, after leaving the university. The secondary character, Saki Hoshino, who has recently moved to the Akihabara area, will encounter Asahi. The game includes other characters like the idol Riyu Momose and the beautiful Yamato Hongo. The protagonists will find themselves trapped in a world of illusions, where it is always Sunday. In addition, the group will encounter a mysterious man with a pink band that will always be close to them when unexplained incidents occur.
